One the world's most famous golf destinations, a visit to The Belfry is a must for any one with a passion for the game of golf. There are three courses to enjoy. Whether you are new to the beautiful game or have been hooked for years we have something for everyone to take pleasure from.

Host venue to the nail biting 34th Ryder Cup Matches for an unprecedented forth time, The Belfry is now seen as the spiritual home to The Ryder Cup. The Belfry is home to the Quinn Direct British Masters, and has hosted the Benson & Hedges International Open and the PGA Seniors' Championship. Such high credentials are testimony to the quality of golf you will experience at The Belfry. It is this quality that has also led to The Belfry being chosen as home to the headquarters of both The PGA of Great Britain & Ireland, The PGA of Europe, and the PGA National Golf Academy.

Enjoy a break you'll never forget with friends simply wandering the grounds or take a more energetic break and include some personal tuition on your driving, chipping or putting skills.

But there is so much more at The Belfry than just golf, if you do manage to tear yourself away from your clubs or there are non-golfers in your party there is a range of other facilities for you to enjoy within the hotel.

"Keep it simple - Working to the formula developed by my grandfather and carried through by my father, I believe in building a solid foundation based on simple fundamentals. This provides every golfer with a repetitive swing to sustain better shots, more often, lowering your scores for more fun on the golf course." Gary Alliss

The PGA National Golf Academy reflects The Belfry's dedication to golf, offering world-class golf tuition, practice facilities and custom fitting experiences.

A handpicked team of 16 PGA qualified Golf Professionals led by Gary Alliss, the 'King of Swing' drives this passion. Since opening in May 2003, the PGA National Golf Academy has become a centre of excellence, with a mission to provide every golfer with the support they need to improve any aspect of their game.

The team of qualified Golf Professionals have been coached by the likes of Peter Cowen and the Harmon brothers, had training from industry-leading golf club manufacturers and are now directed by leading golf instructor Gary Alliss. The PGA National Golf Academy is the only place to learn.
